The property of Montepaldi covers an area of about 300 hectares. Besides the Villa Medicea (with the underground wine cellar), it includes the winery, the olive mill, a small village and a few outbuildings.

Villa Montepaldi is a productive winery that uses the benefits of research to enhance the raw materials. Our analysis of the terrain and painstaking care for the vines, together with attention to all phases of the grape transformation are rewarded in the distinctive character of our wines.

Since 1989, the property has belonged to the University of Florence, which supports the entire production process with innovative techniques and a multidisciplinary approach.
